Most applications go nowhere. Grain gets you hired.
Instead of firing résumés into the void, a real team backs you up, matches you to restaurants hiring, and helps you land the job.
Nothing here says who you are, how you work, or that anyone would vouch for you.
You build it once. We do the hunting from there.
Grain isn’t a job board you dig through. Tell us what you’re after, and a real team matches you to restaurants hiring through Grain, gets your record in front of the right people, and stays with you until you land.
Built to make you stand out.
Not a résumé and a hope. It’s a record you own, backed by real people, and human from the first look.
Paste your profile into any application, or send it to a manager.
Coworkers and managers vouch for you, not a résumé guess.
Your intro and your own words come first, before a page of bullets.
What workers ask.
Yes. Grain is free for hospitality workers, with no fees at any point: building your profile, getting your work history verified, and applying all cost nothing. Restaurants partner with Grain to hire, and your profile is only shared with employers you apply to or people you send your link to.
You build your profile in a few minutes: work history, availability, and what you’re looking for. Then you answer a short set of interview questions right on the platform, on your own time: the ones a manager would ask on a first call, plus your intro video. No live call to schedule. You send confirmation requests to coworkers and managers you choose, and active candidates are usually verified within a few days. From there your record goes out with every application, and when a restaurant wants to meet you, Grain sets up the interview and handles the reminders.
Job boards forward your application into a pile with dozens of others. Grain sends a record: your work history confirmed by real coworkers, references from past managers, your availability, and a short intro in your own voice. A hiring manager meets you before they read a word, instead of skimming one more résumé.
You send a request to former coworkers and managers you choose, and confirming takes them about a minute. Coworkers verify you worked where you say you did, in that role, over those dates. Managers add a reference about your work. Grain confirms responses by work email, and active candidates usually come back verified within a few days.
Nothing is held against you. Your record only shows what has been confirmed, so a missing reference reads as not yet, never as a red flag. Your coworker confirmations and interview answers still stand, and the reference can be added whenever they respond, so your record keeps filling in.
No. Grain is reference-based: we confirm your employment history and collect references from people you choose. We do not run criminal or credit checks, and references answer specific questions about your work, not open-ended opinions.
You control it. Employers see your record when you apply to them on Grain, or when you share your profile link yourself. It is not posted to a public job board, and building a profile does not notify your current employer.
Yes. Your record lives at one link that you can paste into any application, including Indeed, Poached, and Seasoned, or text straight to a manager. You are not locked in: the profile is yours, and it works wherever you apply.
No. Even one job with one coworker confirming your work puts you ahead of a blank résumé. Your record shows what is confirmed so far and keeps filling in as you work, so it grows with you instead of starting over at every application.
No. Your record is yours, so you choose which jobs to include and who confirms them. A shorter record of confirmed work reads better than a long one you can’t back up, and you can always add more history later.
A short intro is part of your interview questions on Grain, and it works in your favor. You record it once on your phone, on your own time, and it travels with every application, so a manager hears from you directly before reading a word of your history.
We’re building in Austin, TX first, working with local restaurants, with plans to expand soon. You can build your profile from anywhere, and your record link works on any application wherever you are.
Build the profile that follows you.
Set it up once, get your coworkers to vouch, and reuse it on every job you apply for. Takes a few minutes. Costs nothing.
