The Grain Guarantee
Effective 1 September 2026. This page is part of the Scope of Work Terms.
If the work does not meet the scope of work you paid for, you get your money back.
Here is exactly how it works.
What we promise. Every project starts with a scope of work that says what we will deliver, what we will not, and how the result will be judged. We deliver against that. Before anything reaches you, one of our operators has checked it against the criteria in the scope.
What you do. When we deliver, you have three calendar days to tell us one of three things: approved, approved with changes, or not acceptable. If something is off, tell us which line of the scope it misses. That one sentence is what makes the guarantee work. We fix against the scope, not against a feeling.
What happens next.
- We amend. Changes inside the scope are made at no charge, within the rounds the scope states.
- We redo. If an amendment does not get there, we redo the deliverable, with a different person or method if that is what it takes.
- We refund. If the deliverable still does not meet the scope, we refund its price through Stripe to the card or account you paid with. Not a credit, not a coupon. If the scope prices the project as one thing, we refund the whole price.
What the guarantee does not cover.
- Work that was never in the scope. Anything outside it is a new scope of work with its own price, and we tell you so before starting.
- Changing your mind after you have approved.
- Preferences that differ from the scope's criteria. If the scope says "a filterable spreadsheet with one row per supplier" and that is what you got, wanting a different layout is a change request, not a defect.
- Results that depend on other people or on what you do after delivery, such as replies to outreach or revenue from a page, unless the scope defines and prices that outcome.
- The parts of a project we could not do because an input or answer we asked for never arrived. We deliver what is complete on the promised date and say what is missing.
- Silence. If we do not hear from you within three days of delivery, after our reminder, the delivery counts as approved.
Two things to know. Work we refund stays ours; you agree not to use it. The guarantee is per deliverable, so one part of a project can be refunded while the rest stands.
